Shady Oaks of Serenity is a new Georgia Victorian situated in Southern Maryland on three acres and surrounded by trees. We are only a forty-five minutes from the nations capitol or Annapolis, the state capitol. Down the road is the Amish country of St. Mary's County and a stones throw from the famous Dr. Mudd House. Visitors are welcome to use the family room, deck, front porch or bar room. We have a multi-purpose room, that can be used for meetings, parties, or any event you need (accommodates ~30 people). Our rooms come with wine and delicious candy. The morning brings fresh coffee & homemade muffins.

Each room features a comfortable king bed and private bath; guests are welcome to gather in the sitting room, porch or deck. We also feature several humorous touches: The Kazimer Lighthouse (a six-foot replica off the deck) holds the prestigious honor of being Charles County's only lighthouse. And the Garden of DeFeet is decorated with stepping stones shaped like bare feet and planders made of shoes.
